If someone throws a parade, but nobody attends, has it really happened?

While a certain despot in D.C. may be asking himself that very question, anyone who attended one of the 1,800 "No Kings" rallies from coast-to-coast, will not.

Because throngs crowded our nation's streets and parks, in big cities and small, and even in small-town middle America.

And despite threats from that despot, the only violence committed was by -- wait for it -a MAGA minion.

I am very proud to be one of the millions who showed up yesterday to protest Trump -- at not one but two events.

First was the Santa Monica event, held in Palisades Park right on the shore. Hubby Laurence and my good friend and colleague Amanda Gari joined me as we milled about the throng that was estimated at 10,000+!

After a nice lunch together, I headed solo over to Beverly Hills for their 2pm event. And the crowds there were just as impressive.

And despite Kristi Noem's blatant lies would like you to think, both events were peaceful and celebratory. The energy really reminded me a lot of the San Francisco Pride Parades back in the 1980s/90s.

I wish we could do this every weekend!
