Leon Goes Solo for a Good Cause
Performs Aug. 16 in Monologue Madness! Benefit for Doctors Without Borders
|
Leon joined Starving Actors for Starving Children for Monologue Madness!, a benefit for Doctors Without Borders, on August 16 at 8p.m. at Electric Lodge Theatre in Venice, produced and directed by Lisa Soulé Christensen.
The evening featured Hollywood actors performing their audition pieces. Leon performed two monologues: one from Jonathan Tollins' stage comedy Last Sunday in June, in which he appeared at New Conservatory in San Francisco in 2004; the second from his dramatic film OUT, which he also wrote.
The fundraiser collected more than $1,000 for Doctors Without Borders.
